Planning a wedding can feel super overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be! As experienced wedding photographers, Hunter & I understand firsthand how stressful the process can be. We were married in September 2020, during the height of the pandemic, with wildfires raging across the West Coast. Our wedding plans changed (or were canceled) five or six times, we had some of our vendors go out of business, until finally we gave up and got married in our studio apartment and had the party a year and a half later. That experience shaped the way we approach wedding photography today: with empathy, flexibility, and a calm presence you can rely on to carry you through.
Our goal as your wedding photographers is to make your experience feel effortless and supported from start to finish. We love meeting couples in person—whether that’s at a cozy coffee shop or a local brew pub—to talk through your vision, your priorities, and what matters most to you on your wedding day. We’ll help guide you through everything from wedding planning tips and timeline creation to rehearsal dinner coverage, ceremony moments, and the celebration on the dance floor. From “yes” to “I do,” we’re with you every step of the way.
Every wedding photography package includes a complimentary engagement session. This relaxed, fun session gives us time to truly get to know you while capturing authentic, meaningful images that reflect your relationship. It’s the perfect way to feel comfortable in front of the camera and kick off your wedding photography experience with confidence—while also creating beautiful images you can use for save-the-dates, your wedding website, or announcements.

We are happy to offer payment plans that fit your schedule to all of our couples! We can break payments into three or four portions due on dates of your choosing.

A 25% non-refundable retainer and signed contract is required to reserve your date: this retainer can be transferred should your wedding need to be rescheduled (in a post-COVID world, anything can happen). The remainder is due 4 weeks prior to your date!
Wedding retainers
Our couples tend to book their venue and photographer twelve to sixteen months before their wedding date, so if you are interested in having a chat we HIGHLY recommend doing it soon! There is a 'season' to weddings in the Pacific Northwest, usually May through October, and let me tell ya, Saturdays in September go like hotcakes. It's not unusual for us to have a nearly full slate of weddings for next September booked by the time Chrstmas rolls around.

Yes! All of our wedding photography packages include a complimentary engagement session. It’s a relaxed, fun way for us to get to know you, help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and capture authentic images that reflect your relationship.
How far in advance should we book our Vancouver wedding photographer?
Most of our couples book us to photograph their wedding day 9-12 months in advance, especially for popular Vancouver and Portland-area wedding dates. June and September are particularly popular. If your wedding is coming up sooner, feel free to reach out—we may still have availability.
What is your photography style?
Our style focuses on candid, authentic moments with gentle guidance when needed. We aim to document your wedding day as it naturally unfolds while creating timeless images you’ll love for years to come.

Whether you are two months out from your wedding or fourteen months, we can help with the process. We'll give you photo location recommendations for your venue, structure for your timeline, as well as vendor recommendations and referrals!

your wedding day!
The last one is the easiest for you! We will be frequently communicating with you and your planner (if you have one!) leading up to the big day, and we like to arrive at the venue 30 minutes before our scheduled start time so we can scout locations for portraits. You get to relax and enjoy and leave the rest up to us!

Step one! Lets arrange a phonecall, a zoom meeting, meet up for coffee or a drink at a brew pub and grab a bite, and we'll chat about your vision for your big day. We have so many tips and tricks to share, and we'll walk you through who we are and our process and see if we are a good fit!

book your date!
Once you've signed our contract and paid the 25% retainer to reserve your date, you are booked! All of our engagement session materials are at your disposal, including location scouting and outfit recommendations!

the engagement
Step three, once you have decided on your engagement location and date, we meet up with you two and we spend a couple of hours having a blast and goofing around. Engagement sessions with us are VERY low-stress and all about getting to know you two. You get a sneak peek in 48 hours and the rest of your gallery in a week!
